Q: QuestionAt the time I purchased this phone, I also purchased a screen protector. I have managed to crack it and would like to replace it. Does anyone know if this accessory is covered by AppleCare? If yes, do you know if there is a fee? Thank you!

• A:Answer With liquid glass screen protectors, they have a lifetime warranty meaning that if your screen breaks they will pay for the repairs. I don’t know if it’s like that with other screen protectors. The screen protector company will reimburse you after you get your phone fixed and submit required documents such as the repair bill. With apple care there’s usually a deductible and the price for deductible depends on what type of phone you have. You may want to call apple to see what your options are.

• A:Answer I believe that it can only be purchased if the phone was purchased from BestBuy. I have purchased two iPhones from BestBuy mobile and was offered the Apple Care + add-on there. Because when I had to cancel the Apple Care + plan, I had to go through Geek Squad.
