It’s pretty basic... if you’ve ever built an IKEA bookshelf, you’re all set. You just need a screwdriver and a little over an hour. The ‘electronics’ are literally three small plugs... the diagram could be a bit more clear, but it’s not complicated in the least. And the lighting on the control panel? There’s a TINY black button up in the top right corner that’s turns them on. And one last thing... if you want to save the high scores, before you turn it off you have to push and hold the one player button until you see the main menu again. I just saved you an hour or so of searching online. Ha ha.

Please try again later.the instructions are decent enough, follow the pictures and make sure holes are in designated direction, pieces are all labeled, takes about 45 minutes for me to do by myself. Do not over tighten the screws or you will strip them,only a couple of wires to plug in for electrical

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.HI Buffy, well, I own the STAR WARS unit with the riser and I did not have difficulty in assembling that unit. This unit is fairly good and decent to assemble. The instructions are fairly well put and easy to understand in the manual. The items come well packed in the box. If you are picking it up yourself, make sure to look the box over for any damage or openings on the box itself. Do not buy those. Just make sure it looks good before buying and keep the receipt handy if there are any kind of problems or pieces damaged/missing inside. You can return promptly for exchange or refund. Double check your wiring when attaching the electronic cables, etc. before finally putting the backboard on with the screwdriver and closing it up. Make sure any switches are turned to the ON position. I would recommend getting this unit at BEST BUY as it is the best version called the SPECIAL EDITION. That comes with ~ LIGHTED MARQUEE LIGHTED PROTECTIVE PLAYER DECK CUSTOM RISER CUSTOM STOOL WITH GRAPHICS
