Does this product require assembly? null

Yes ,and it's not too complex. It's just like Ikea furniture and does not have too many steps. Posting time is irrelevant as to people are all different.... However, I can do mine (I've built about a dozen or so) in about an hour not rushing and taking my time. Hope that helps!

I took my time & was able to put it together by myself in a couple of hours.
