• I use one cord and swap it around three Arlo floodlights when their solar chargers are not enough. You can use 24/7 or just to charge.

• Keep in mind that people telling you that you can just leave it plugged in 24/7 is not neccessarily good advice. If you never let the lithium battery cycle, ie leave it plugged in charging all the time but continue to use the device, eventually it will just never hold a charge should you need it to, it will HAVE to be plugged in all the time. This happens to people who use their laptop plugged in all the time they use it. Then eventually when they want to grab it and go, they find the battery dies right away and they have to plug it in to use it. Kind of defeats the purpose of the battery.

• The cord only needs to be plugged in while charging, but can be left plugged in all the time. One cord should be enough for multiple caeras. The battery does take several hours to charge. Be aware the battery life all depends on how much activity the camera picks up.
