• It records when there's motion and stops after 15 seconds but records a new video when there's more motion again. So if there's constant motion in the room it'll record in increments of 15 seconds or so.

• How long it will record depends on the cameras settings, however, the Essential 2 Outdoor Camera will begin recording when it detects motion or sound
