Q: QuestionDo these cameras have the option to be hard wired? Living in MN w harsh winters those batteries would be lucky to last 2 weeks. Dont feel like getting up on a ladder to change batteries in February or January.

• A:Answer Initial setup requires 2.4 Ghz wifi. I am not sure if it can use 5 Ghz wifi after initial setup. (I have Xfinity Wifi and had to change the settings on my Wifi from automatic use of 2.4 GHZ or 5 Ghz Wifi to using two separate 2.4 GHz and 5 Ghz Wifi channels in order to get my Wifi to detect the cameras.)
