- Answer No you cannot because they must connect to the base station in the home and router. It would only work if your mom is in an in law suite within the same building connected to then base station

- Answer battery can’t be replaced and when they are new last like 3 weeks on easy mode but after 7 months of use battery only lasts for about 1 day
