• The Arlo Essential Spotlight camera activates when it detects motion. Data usage varies depending on the video quality settings, number of motion triggers and length of recordings.

• I would get an internet router that has, business internet 5G or business internet broadband and is just only for the security cameras as the HD will not work unless you have good bandwidth. I got a 10 year price lock-in on my ‘business internet’ price. So that is a wireless product for 1 Layer of security. The Arlo camera is great
