• Yes this is. The problem I had connecting to my wi-fi had to do with my password, so once I changed this my cameras appeared on my phone, which I’m using as the base.

• No, the Arlo Essential Camera is only compatible with a 2.4 GHz network. As an alternative, you can try purchasing an Arlo Smart Hub.
