You have to have an Arlo Base Station set up and then get the Spotlights that have the extender in the package. The extender sets up with the base. After you have the extender set up then you can add just the spotlight to the system. But to start, you need an Arlo base (with the camera system) and the spotlight package with the extender in it.

If you already have an Arlo security light with a bridge, then no, everything comes in the add on box. If you don’t have a bridge then you will have to get one. It’s the only way the add on can connect to the Arlo account
