A:Answerit depends on the strength and physical location of your router. Also how many other items are connected or wireleressly connected to the router. I have a decent rounter Netgear nighthawk 1900AC in the center of the house on the first floor, both Arlo cameras were about 15-20 feet away. I eventually returned them and bought the Blink XT, it stayed connected and came with 3 cameras and motion detection was far better.

A:Answeryou can always add additional cam anytime but arlo only allows up to 5 cam using your local storage anything more than that you need to subscribe. There are ways to distribute cams unless you need more than 5.
A:AnswerVideos are captured and stored on the cloud for a 7-day period for free. You can download them at any time during that 7 day time. I believe you can also subscribe/pay to get longer/more storage.
A:AnswerThe control box allows you to hook up 4 cameras. It would be more expensive to buy another whole system just to add 2 additional cameras. Much cheaper to only buy 2 more individual cameras to use with the one control box.
A:AnswerArlo Support Team would be glad to help troubleshoot this with you. You may call Arlo Support at 1 (408) 638 3750 or visit http://bit.ly/2Hx22a1 for more ways to contact Support. Thanks! ^RM
A:AnswerIt won't work at least you have a power bank for your internet modem and the arlo box. Cameras have battery, but without internet they won't work.
A:AnswerMine lasts for almost a week before it needs charging. You do have an option of video quality and could possibly extend battery life before charging again. What also effects battery life is the amount of recording it is doing. I have 4 cats and a dog so I get a lot of recordings of them.
A:AnswerYes, The cameras will have to come off to charge. Unless you have a solar powered unit connected to the cameras and or a long microUSB cable connected to the outlet.
A:AnswerThe camera with non-heavy use can last 4 months. But if used on a regular basis cameras will last about a month or so before it needs a recharge.
A:AnswerI have had mine for just under a month and one of them is over my driveway and the other over my back patio door. The driveway sees regularly action so it has discharged to 54% and the patio sees less action and is 75%.
So estimate a month to a month and a half depending on how activity it gets. So bought wasserstein weather proof usb cable 25 ft and wired mine through exterior walls to interior and plugged them in. Plugging them in allows you to use activity zone feature to reduce false alerts for free instead of battery which they charge money to use this feature. So more work but some benefit. No perfect low work solution but not too bad if you do one a weekend.
A:AnswerArlo cameras offer multiple mounting options for maximum flexibility to customize what works best for your home or business. If you’re concerned about someone stealing a camera from a magnetic mount, you can use the threaded insert on your camera to attach it to an Arlo Outdoor Security Mount. Arlo Outdoor Security Mounts screw directly into the back of your Arlo cameras to firmly secure it where you desire and provide a 360-degree swivel and 90 degrees of camera tilt.
