The best area for motion detection is 5 to 20 feet (1.5 to 6 meters) from the camera position. You can position your camera a maximum of 300 feet (90 meters) from the base station. This applies to both Arlo Pro & Arlo Pro 2 cameras. For more details see: https://kb.arlo.com/1015583. ^KN
