You will be able to use the Arlo Pro 4 cameras when setup via WiFi or Arlo SmartHub/base station. Please note, Arlo Smart Plans are not available in Ghana, West Africa. Without a service plan, your Arlo camera will continue to have the following features: 1) Remote and local live streaming 2) Push notifications 3) Auto Zoom and Tracking 4) Two-way audio and 5) Local storage recording. Additionally, the warranty of your product will only be valid within the country of purchase.

The Arlo Pro 4 system requires a WiFi network that is within range of the both the camera and the device the camera is sending the video signal to. As long as both devices are within the WiFi network’s range it will work perfectly. When the receiving device(most probably a smartphone) moves beyond the WiFi network’s range a cellular system used for making phone calls would be required in order for the smartphone to maintain contact with the Arlo camera.
