• Arlo Pro 4 camera comes with a free Arlo Smart trial. When the trial expires, you have the option to purchase an Arlo Smart subscription. Without an Arlo Smart subscription, you will still be able to use the features listed here : https://kb.arlo.com/000062312. ^RM

• Well - yes. You either pay for the Arlo subscription upgrade, or perhaps you remove one of your older Arlo's and leverage the great camera quality and features of the Arlo Pro4. Unfortunately, that's the way technology goes - replace old stuff with new stuff.
