It comes with a free 7 days rolling online recording option, videos can be downloaded within the 7 day timeframe. You can also connect a USB drive to record. Watching the videos is no cost, only if you want to have an upgraded subscription service you will need to pay for it.

On BASIC no charge. Keep and watch as many times as you want. Can also delete or share to your storage or social medias.. Not sure what the upgrade packages do. Basic works great.
