No, Best Buy will not replace it in barboursville wv. They said contact the manufacturer. It is $8 shipping from the manufacturer with proof of purchase, which can be your best buy purchase receipt. This free replacement is all bogus marketing tactic.

You may have to find those terms and conditions just to be sure what is covered and not covered, but its nice to know there's a lifetime warranty for it.
