“Spectrum caused my land lines to be dead. No dial tone or anything. Will buying a new router to hook up in bedroom fix phone jacks? Spectrum’s router is behind the tv. One landline is plugged into their router, but land line in bedroom is still dead.”

• Please note that SBG10 is a combo device with a cable modem and an inbuilt wifi router but it does not provide VOIP/telephony support

• No this will not resolve your in home phone wiring. Please give spectrum a call back and tell them you need a service appointment to restore dialtone to your internal phone wires. They just bypassed all phone wiring and hooked stright to the MTA. The tech should have asked about backfeeding to the nid before they installed it. Sorry for the poor install, but spectrum can resolve this issue for mo charge due to an improper install.
