“Will this device work with Ooma telo VOIP? I have seen the answers saying it will work with Xfinity voice, but I want to keep my existing Ooma service and need a compatible gateway.”

Yes you can use the 3rd party VOIP adapter like Ooma with this device. Plug in the Ooma to the ethernet port of the gateway and plug in the telephone port to the Ooma adapter
