• Definitely works on Optimum. I just replaced my old modem and it works at the same speed. Before you change you have to call Optimum customer service and tell them your MAC ID of your new modem. The installation takes 5 or 6 minutes. After the replacement you have to return the old modem to any Optimum store and you won't have to pay the 10 dollar rent anymore.

• In fact I have optimum. And it works very well. Just make you register the modem with optimum technical support.

• Yes, after quick self-setup process with Optimum.net online, it works very well. One improvement that Arris could make is to source an AC adapter that fits better on a power outlet strip. Suggest turn outlet plug connectors 90 degrees. Adapter would then take up less space and allow use of all outlets.
