Sometimes u have to call your internet provider to give them numbers on the back of your modem box for it to work properly. Just call and say that u got a new model and that you need to connect it with their service.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ethernet cable from modem to router. Not difficult at all.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can connect any router to a modem like this. It's pretty straight forward with the installation guidelines they provide. Plug the modem in the wall, let it boot up, then plug in your router, then start up your PC. You may need to call up your cable company to initialize the modem (they will ask for the MAC address labeled on the modem).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just connect a piece of CAT-5e Ethernet cable from the output of the modem to the input socket on your router. That is all there is to it.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Follow directions for set up as listed for the router. Should be available on Cisco website. Also search cable company website as they provide directions for self set up of modem and routers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You take the Ethernet output from the modem and plug it into the Yellow Jack on your router. Your router will then need to be configured to use Automatic IP on the WAN settings to automatically detect and setup access to the internet.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As long as you have cable Internet and this modem is compatible with your ISP's network, you can use this with any router. It has an Ethernet port on the back that you can connect to a router.
