Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it's normal. The link light flashes when there is data transfer. For a 10-Base T or 100-Base T router the light flashes orange/red/amber. For a high-speed gigabit router, the light flashes blue.

You may want to check the user manual or ask a Best Buy tech. Now, you have me curious so I'll be looking into it. I thought this was strange also when I set mine up.
