This unit does not have VoIP capabilities. The SVG2482-AC unit currently assorted at Best Buy does include VoIP specifically for Xfinity subscribers. Sales @ ARRIS SURFboard

I did not locate anything on the box where it state it is voip capable. It does work with Xfinity (aka Comcast) services.
