The arris SBG7580-AC router should handle your household quite easily. At times I have (6) cell phones, when the kids stop by , (3) smart Tv, (2) Laptop and (1) desktop (1) Firestick and (2) android tv boxes, home automation/ security hub and (2) echo dots and (1) echo show running plus (2) android tablets and (2) ipads running on my network. At any given time (8) of the devices are running at the same time with no buffering or lag at all. This is my second Arris Modem/Router and for my money you can't go wrong purchasing this router.
