• I use mine with WOW without a problem. Must have a modem.

• Hi Imcesp, The SURFboard mAX goes along pretty well with the Arris cable modems. Arris SB8200 along with mAX would be your best bet for gigabit subscription plans as you can truly take advantage of high speeds and Link aggregation Control capability of the devices

• Using Arris surfboard SB8200 on Wave but modem was what my daughter uses in Comcast. Max pro system is made for the modem, even can use dual Ethernet link.
