• Works without the Mix Amp Pro, you’ll just have to plug it directly into your controller via the 3.5mm jack.

• It works without the amp but I don’t recommend it because the sound quality suffers tremendously

• This is just the headset. It will work with any sound card. These are the best ones we were able to find. Excellent for gaming.
