“I recently had to return my headset for a replacement and they are 2 different versions. How do I know which version I have now? The new one has a more flexible mic compared to the returned one that had a more rigid mic.”

• When you say different versions, do you mean the Playstation and Xbox version? The Xbox version is black with gold letters. The Playstation version is black with silver letters. The more "rigid" mic is mostly the previous Generation (Gen 3). The current available A50s are usually Gen 4. Hopes this helps.

• The new gen and the old gen of this headset are very similar. I know that the base for the current version is way smaller than the old version. Other than that look up the differences wherever you can find them.
