Yes it does. As long as the device does bitstream out (Xbox one and x) does this. It’s in the directions.

If you install the Astro Command Center (for Mac or Windows) or even as an Application in your Xbox, it is compatible. All you need to do is connect the USB port from the base station with the headset on it and switch it to PC mode if on computer, to your computer and open the Astro Command Center app and install the new firmware, and now you can use your headset by only using the USB cable and not the optic cable traditionally used.
