• The answer to this is the people who had them already are with Best Buy’s invite only program. The program is for those who review products regularly! I kinda feel it’s ridiculous how they get it earlier than us ( PAYING customers) but I guess that’s just how the cookie crumbles.

• 2.4ghz early release for influencers and reviewers

• Review models have been sent to different users before release, so that may be what you had seen before Aug 2. The new A50 is using 2.4Ghz for wireless and seems to be much more stable than the previous generations 5Ghz.

• The reviews your seeing are for reviewers on the Best Buy Technology Insider's Network program. Astro shipped a select few reviewers hardware to review. The audio I believe is 5GHz, but honestly I'm not sure where I got that spec (I swear it came up somewhere in reviewing).
