• Depends on apps you want to use and whether those apps are available as cloud based subscription based apps. Most are these days. Including Office. The cloud version is office 365.

• If I were you I'd look into getting a Windows Laptop, honestly Chromebooks are very limited with no support for full programs, ask any professor and they will tell you they use Microsoft Office, Google Docs and Sheets just doesn't cut it plus when you get a job in the real world sometimes apps aren't compatible. You can buy a decent windows laptop with office for around $350-$400. It's worth the investment for your future
