No, this unit does not have a touchscreen.

I haven't had any issues with battery life, seems to last as advertised if you're not streaming videos or other CPU heavy activities. I've had no issues with it overheating, but I haven't done a lot of CPU heavy things that would tend to generate at lot of heat. Not sure about RAM expansion. My overall opinion on this ASUS Vivobook is that it is great value for $200. Is it the best laptop I've ever used? No. But it is the best value laptop I've ever had. I think its perfect for a college student who needs to write papers, email, and surf the web to do research.

I haven't experienced any overheating. I read you can increase the RAM. This is a great little computer. I highly recommend it.
