Well, yes and no. The laptop is set up in Windows S mode, which limits the apps you can install on it. You cannot install Chrome web browser, as one example, and the included Microsoft Edge web browser is, as of this writing, incompatible with Zoom meetings and will not permit computer audio to play thru the Zoom app. However, there's an easy fix for this: simply install the User Agent extension in Microsoft Edge. MS Edge is now built on the same platform as Chrome, making it more secure and eliminating the need to install Chrome web browser. Adding the User Agent extension to MS Edge permits you to select "Chrome" as MS Edge's User Agent, which means MS Edge will behave more like the Chrome web browser, and will then work fine with Zoom. You could also disable Windows S Mode, which some of your friends or co-workers will inevitably tell you to do. Don't do it. You will brick this thing. 4Gb of RAM is insufficient to efficiently run full Windows. I mean, you CAN run full Windows on it, but you'll hate your laptop for being so slow, and once you disable S Mode there is no going back. Do_not_do_this. Alternatively, you could bring it in to Best Buy and have the geek Squad upgrade your RAM to 8Gb minimum, at which point you could go wild!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't see an "edit" capability... sorry, my screw-up, here: the RAM in 410ma is onboard which means it is NOT upgradeable. You're stuck with the 4Gb, which means you REALLY do_not_want to disable windows S mode. You will slow this laptop to a crawl if you do.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can use Zoom for meeting.
