Of course NOT ! This is a wonderful low cost machine manufactured by ASUS, my favorite computer company. It has ASUS quality parts combined by competent engineers. As a result you get a dependable, quality device which is relatively slow, with extreme value. I would recommend this machine to anyone ... with the comment that its relatively slow, but GREAT bang for the buck. I recommend that you buy at least one.

It is fast enough to run light and basic computing applications like, word-processing, audio/video streaming and web surfing, etc.
