Consider buying an NVME SSD as this laptop has a slot for this (if you feel comfortable opening up the laptop). Best Buy sells NVME SSD's; the Samsung NVME SSD is a very good one. You might even migrate the operating system from the eMMC to the new SSD (the free Samsung Magician software can do this).
