• If you'd like to it'd be nice, but please don't refer to those crash comments as commonplace because they are really just caused by user error. This laptops fan architecture is pretty good. Just keep the vents from being blocked by surrounding objects and it should be fine. If your room is hot, that might not be a good place to use the laptop. The laptop will only work as good as you treat it.

• I would recommend a cooling pad or additional cooling. I was having this computer run really hot when gaming. I had the fans on turbo mood and I will invest in a cooling fan as well. I did not experience crashes or performance drops
