“I have opened this thing up looking to see which parts it can accept cause I like to be sure of things. I'm pretty positive that this does not accept NVMe SSDs like the 970 EVO. The slot in it only has the ability to accept B and M SSDs therefore SATA.”

SKU 5969508 is exactly what you need, or this type of SSD I have this exact laptop, and the smaller HDD is not able to be switched out, but the standard 1tb disc is. I just switched it out with that sku, and it was worth it.
