Q: QuestionI have an Asus Q504U that is several years old. It dies the minute I unplug the charger. I bought a new charger and still have the same issue. Is it possible to replace the battery in this model? If so, what battery do I need?

• A:Answer Yes, the battery is replaceable, the bottom cover needs to be removed in order to access the battery. It uses a 50wH, 4-cell Lithium Ion battery.

• A:Answer The UHD 620 graphics processor should run Sims 4, depending on resolution. If Asus could let us know if this laptop is upgradeable to 16Gb dual channel ram, we'd get much more performance from the 620.

Q: Questionlaptop makes a electronic, high pitched screeching crackling static sound from the right side of the keyboard. its faint but in a quiet room you can hear it. if you put your ear to the right side of keyboard you can hear it clearly. is this normal?

• A:Answer The cover of the screen has got to be very thin aluminum. I got a lovely ding dropping the charger 12 inches above it. The rest seems to be plastic.
