Today, March 30, I received a call from Kim at ASUS and she provided me the quick and easy solution to my problem-Hold the ALT key down while using the brightness keys on the top row. Thanks!!

Please try again later.I called customer support today and asked about the backlighting issue-the agent asked me to hold while she looked for an answer-i was taken to the automated satisfaction survey before the agent got back on the call. Needless to say, I was not very satisfied with my experience.
