“I just got this laptop, and am in the process of setting it up. I am 15 minutes in, and the bottom if the laptop is hot on my lap. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm wondering if this is a lemon.”

I would guess that you have the computer plugged into power (not using battery). It is normal for a computer battery to get hot while charging. Normally after the battery is close to fully charged, it will trickle charge to keep the battery charged and not get so hot. It is a good idea to run the battery down at least once a month. I do not keep my computer(s) plugged into power all the time. If you find that after charging you don't have much battery life, then you may have an issue. I hope this helps......
