QuestionI also have this laptop. Purchased one and returned within 48 hours because it overheats and slows down. Purchased the same item, thinking it was an isolated incident. I have had this new one since March and I regret purchasing it. does the same thing.

QuestionWhy does my asus q525au die when I pick it up? It works perfectly fine as long as I don't pick it up. I can even slide it across a surface but as soon as I pick it up(primarily from the right side). I'm assuming it's a grounding issue. Can I fix this?

- Answer HAving the same issue --- I believe when picking up the laptop from the right side, it pulls the HDD away from the connector. I had to open the lid and re-seat the HDD.

- Answer You can add a m.2 drive and keep the data drive in I have the Samsung 2tb m.2 as a os drive and the the original hd 2tb as a back drive for my videos and it works great
