“Why does my asus q525au die when I pick it up? It works perfectly fine as long as I don't pick it up. I can even slide it across a surface but as soon as I pick it up(primarily from the right side). I'm assuming it's a grounding issue. Can I fix this?”

HAving the same issue --- I believe when picking up the laptop from the right side, it pulls the HDD away from the connector. I had to open the lid and re-seat the HDD.
