A:Answer Not going to crack the lid to take a pic but as a computer tech, trust me when I say that it does indeed have a sata connection and does support sata ssd but if I can give you another option which is MUCH better, don't swap hard drives but instead get an NVMe M.2 drive and install it and make it your boot drive and use the 2TB spinner as bulk storage for videos or pictures etc. Here's the one I installed and, trust me, it's by far the best plan : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BN4NJ2J/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
To be precise, there is only one sata connector inside but if you take advantage of the M.2 slot with an NVMe drive you will be VERY happy you went that route.
