• Yes, all microsoft programs are backwards compatible. you can use word 97 if all I care.

• I highly doubt it; the Windows 8.1 operating system wasn't compatible with my older versions of Office or Word Perfect or Quicken.

• probably not I had a 2012 copy of quick books that would not work
