This will not replace your Cable Modem . . . which you need to receive service. Look on your cable provider's website for compatible modems for your service.
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No not completely, just the WiFi portion... but you would want a router, in addition to their device... Also, I think you SHOULD pay for the leased device, just not the WiFi protion...that way everytime an electrical surge fries it... its their problem to replace ... not yours... just sayin, also then they cant blame your device when there is a connection problem
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This router does not have a connection for DSL or Cable. Most people get it because the router that came from your provider doesn't have the wireless speeds or features that this one has.

Your ISP should be able to provide you with a list of compatible equipment, most of which are available at Best Buy. In fact, if you visit your local Best Buy store and tell them what service you're using, they'll be able to tell you on the spot what kind of equipment you'll need. My provider wanted to charge me $11/month plus tax and fees for use of a cable modem for my internet plan. I purchased one from Best Buy for $70 and so far I saved over $100 had I stuck with using their stuff. Also, keep in mind that if you use their WiFi services, they add that capability to their "Free WiFi HotSpot" packages for other subscribers, so if you have their WiFi service, the provider can allow an anonymous user to connect to the WiFi router in your house; they won't be on your network, but they will be using electricity and device resources to service other customers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will need to check with Suddinlink. You can probably find a list of supported third party devices on their website, however you will most likely have to get a cable modem and a wifi router like the Nighthawk. It sounds like their device is both a modem and a router.
