Please try again later.It all depends on you ISP provider...I’m using a Netgear N600 Docsis 3.0 stand alone modem because it handles the speed I’m paying for from Spectrum which is my ISP..so technical the modem wont hold the Asus RT AC5300 router back, the modem can hold your internet speed back from your ISP..check with your ISP for what modem works for the speeds they provide you with..
