• It’s a repeater. It will take the signal from your router and rebroadcast it under a different SSID typically. You can pair this one up with newer Asus routers to use AIMesh, which is the same thing but it uses the same SSID.

• You need to ownload the ASUS Extender application, coonect via WPS, press the WPS button on your router/. AP and press the WPS button on the RP-AX56. For more detailed instrctions, please refer to the User's Manual.
