“I was wondering how far of range it has provided these parameters. I live out on the country away from the city therefore I have no city interference. I guess what it comes down to well reach out to the barn from my house”

If you need it to reach farther on one side of the house to outside, I would recommend placing it near a window on that side of the house. The typical range on them is about a 2 stall garage plus 2 1500 sq ft house all side by side. Not sure how far away your barn is from the house. You may need to get one for the garage and run an ethernet cord underground from the house to the barn. A way to find out how far your internet wifi reaches is to use an app on your phone called Netspot from the Play Store. It will show the signal strength of your wifi and drop in strength the further you go out. Hope this helps!

Range is great but depends how far the Barn is but I’d say for you to get the best reception just mount it somewhere high and in an open area . I’d recommend it . Been working for me since I got it and that’s in a busy city .
