• You can use the 2.5G for either the WAN (ISP Connection) or the LAN, depending on your modem and ISP speed. If you don't have over 1G internet, then don't use the 2.5G. If you do use the 2.5G for the WAN, then you can aggregate two 1G ports on the AXE11000 to a switch that supports link aggregation with two 1G ports on that switch.
