Yes, this model would be good for college student.

no it would not. it is to slow to do anything. Plus the wifi take forever...... I did a side by side test against a 12 year old laptop and the old one blew it away in speed and everything.

Not if you need to use Zoom and only have Wi-Fi. The connection is crap.
