Yes, this monitor is capable of outputting 3D movies. Most likely than not you will have to purchase third party 3D vision glasses in order to properly experience it. If you have a blu-ray player or another media player that supports 3D movies, this monitor can project it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.While the older Asus MG248Q model IS compatible with Nvidia 3D Vision, the newer Asus MG248QR model is absolutely NOT compatible with 3D Vision. I just spent a couple of weeks in online discussion with Nvidia and Asus tech support who finally verified this ... even they had not been aware of this perplexing removed capability. I bought the Asus MG248QR to aid with 3D video editing and was fooled by the massive amount of Internet discussion describing the older MG248Q as 3D Vision compatible.
