• It does sync with either amd or nvidia. I have this monitor myself. Sync with gpu is nice but not necessary. However this monitor syncs with both gsync & freesync

• Input lag is very low, there are many online reviews that show different values depending on settings and tools used to capture the input lag. The monitor supports FreeSync, a supporting graphics card (AMD-only currently) is needed to utilize this feature.

• The input lag is solved by the response time, which is 1 ms. It does not have any form of free-sync or g-sync. However, due to it being capable of running up to 144Hz, there will be little to zero screen tearing. You do not need any form of sync from a GPU in order to run this monitor.
